When I was three years old, I told my parents I wanted to be an artist. 24 years later, I still couldn’t shake that dream, so here I am!
Although art has always been my passion, I detoured a bit. First, I went to Scottsdale Community College and graduated with an Associates in Fine Art. This sounds like it’s on-track, but I mainly studied dance while there! Then I went to Arizona State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Sustainability with a minor in Landscape Architecture. I even detoured farther out of my way by getting a job in the finance industry for several years. After feeling like my soul was slowly being crushed by Corporate America, I decided to take a risk and get back to my roots.
I have a unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and I use everything I read, see, and experience to draw inspiration from. My creative hiatus has forced me to reevaluate my artistic vision. It’s been a process, but I’m getting there, and I can’t wait to show everyone who I really am. It’s finally time to correct my course, and continue my journey toward becoming an artist.
